Our Story

Intaka means Eagle in isiXhosa (Lusoti in SiSwati). The character of an eagle epitomizes soaring high, rising above adversity and dominating unchartered territory. This is the premise upon which Intaka was established. This principle is reflected in our logo, which depicts a blue eagle. The eagle represents our pursuit for excellence and the blue colour symbolizes commitment to our mission; strong and resolute.

The Intaka team, having more than 12 years’ experience, with a special interest in Mercantile law, realized a gap and a need for its services in the business sector, to address issues of continuity, viability, sustainability and profitability through proper corporate legal compliance amd risk Management. Intaka ensures compliance by conducting consistent business health checks for clients, advising on the regulatory requirements, best international practices, internationally adopted policies and procedures.

The Intaka team comprises of qualified, competent attorneys, with more than 12 years’ industry experience. The team has profound knowledge in the critical application of company law, law of taxation, law of contracts, law of insolvency and labour law and industrial relations in eSwatini. The team has amassed a wealth of knowledge and competence in legal drafting and interpretation of statutes of foreign jurisdictions for application in varied legal circumstances and consequences.
